We booked the Magnolia Ballroom for a marriage reception. The area is large and lovely, however the staff requires better education. They removed the personalized favors and "send-off bubbles" from the tables whilst visitors had been dancing, and tossed all of them away. We had to access all of them from trash in order to send-off the few after the night. They ran off beer, while we paid per individual for liquor. A number of our guests don't even drink, but we had taken care of alcohol for them as well, so the beer cannot have go out. The bartenders stubbornly kept showing a tip container although we'd expressed to management essential it had been to united states that no tip jars be displayed. We paid a substantial tip-up front. We don't mind if our guests thought we would offer suggestions to the bartenders, but we felt the show of tip containers cheapened the big event and made our feelings clear. The proprietors and administration should be much more discerning with all the hiring of their staff, and provide all of them much better training.
